Product Description
OVERVIEW
PTFE corrosion-preventive magnetic pumps are highly specialized pumps designed to handle aggressive and corrosive fluids, utilizing the benefits of PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) for exceptional chemical resistance. They incorporate a magnetic drive mechanism to eliminate shaft seals, thereby preventing leaks and contamination.
Features
Key Features
- PTFE Construction:
- Corrosion Resistance: Constructed with PTFE, known for its excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals and corrosive substances. This material ensures that the pump can handle aggressive fluids without degradation.
- Non-reactive: PTFE is chemically inert, making it suitable for applications involving highly reactive or toxic fluids.
- Magnetic Drive Mechanism:
- Magnetic Coupling: Utilizes a magnetic coupling system to transmit torque from the motor to the pump impeller without physical contact. This design eliminates the need for traditional shaft seals, reducing the risk of leakage.
- Leak-Proof Operation: Ensures a leak-proof system, preventing fluid from escaping and protecting both the environment and the operator.
- Pump Design:
- Centrifugal Pump Type: Typically designed as a centrifugal pump, providing reliable fluid movement through a rotating impeller.
- Compact and Efficient: Features a compact design that optimizes space and improves efficiency.
- Chemical Compatibility:
- Wide Range: Capable of handling a broad spectrum of chemicals, including acids, bases, solvents, and other aggressive fluids.
- Temperature Tolerance: Designed to operate effectively across a range of temperatures, depending on the specific PTFE formulation and construction.
- Applications:
- Chemical Processing: Ideal for use in chemical processing plants where aggressive chemicals need to be handled safely.
- Laboratories: Suitable for laboratory environments where precise and contamination-free fluid handling is required.
- Pharmaceuticals: Used in pharmaceutical production processes to handle sensitive and corrosive fluids.
- Electronics: Employed in electronics manufacturing for handling corrosive solutions in various processes.
- Environmental: Utilized in environmental applications for transferring hazardous chemicals and preventing contamination.
- Maintenance and Operation:
- Low Maintenance: The absence of shaft seals and the use of PTFE reduce the need for frequent maintenance and part replacements.
- Ease of Use: Simple to operate with minimal maintenance requirements, enhancing overall reliability.

- Leak-Free Operation: Magnetic drive eliminates the risk of leaks, safeguarding the environment and ensuring safe operation.
- Chemical Compatibility: Suitable for a wide range of aggressive and corrosive fluids, providing flexibility in various applications.
- Low Maintenance: Reduced wear and tear due to the lack of physical shaft seals, leading to lower maintenance costs and increased reliability.
- Efficient Performance: Compact design and efficient operation contribute to effective fluid transfer and energy savings.
Operating Instructions
- Pre-operation Inspection: Before use, check the pump to ensure that the motor's fan blades rotate smoothly, with no jamming or unusual noises. Ensure that all fasteners are tight.
- Starting Procedure: When starting the CQB-F fluoroplastic magnetic pump, slowly open the discharge valve. Wait until the pump reaches normal operating conditions before adjusting the discharge valve to the desired opening.
- Installation: The CQB-F fluoroplastic magnetic pump should be installed horizontally. It should not be mounted vertically unless specifically required; in such cases, ensure the motor is positioned upwards. The pump body should not bear the weight of the piping.
- Rotation Check: Verify that the motor's rotation direction matches the directional markings on the magnetic pump.
- Suction Line: If the suction liquid level is higher than the pump's centerline, open the suction pipeline valve before starting. If the liquid level is lower than the pump's centerline, the suction line must be equipped with a foot valve.
- Shutdown Procedure: Before stopping the CQB-F fluoroplastic magnetic pump, first close the discharge valve, and then close the suction pipeline valve.
