OVERVIEW--sanitary grade screw pump
The sanitary grade screw pump operates based on the rotary positive displacement principle. The entire pump and its wetted parts are constructed from sanitary-grade 304 stainless steel (with customization options available for SS316/316L). It is equipped with a sanitary-grade silicone stator, making it particularly suitable for applications with stringent hygiene requirements, such as in the pharmaceutical, fine chemical, and food industries. This pump complies with food safety and sanitary standards.
ADVANTAGES
The sanitary-grade screw pumps offer the following advantages:
- Industry-specific for food applications: Features a sanitary-grade silicone stator and a food-grade stainless steel rotor shaft.
- Continuous low-pulsation delivery: Unaffected by pressure and viscosity fluctuations.
- Wide application range: Capable of transporting both flowable and non-flowable materials.
- Non-turbulent conveying: The medium is not subjected to agitation, compression, or shear during pumping.
- High efficiency: The flow rate is proportional to the pump speed and can be adjusted via variable frequency control.
- Gentle handling: Most liquids can be pumped with minimal agitation and pulsation.
- Easy maintenance and repair: Offers high-pressure conveying capabilities.
APPLICATIONS
- Petroleum industry: Transportation of heavy oil, multiphase flow of oil and gas, oil-water separation, and waste oil recovery systems.
- Chemical and pharmaceutical industries: Handling pastes, emulsions, and suspensions.
- Environmental engineering: Conveyance of various wastewater, dehydrated sludge, and metered dosing of flocculants and chemical reagents.
- Mining industry: Equipment for producing titanium dioxide, kaolin, calcium carbonate, and similar materials.
- Food industry: Processing dairy products, juices, purees, sauces, beer, and other food products.
- Pulp and paper industry: Raw material handling, pulping, and wastewater treatment.
- Particularly well-suited for the food and pharmaceutical industries.
